New Disaster Recovery site in Ipswich announced

Corbel are pleased to announce that we are in the process of expanding our disaster and workplace recovery services by building a third disaster recovery suite in Ipswich. We opened the Claydon site in mid-2014 and this third site will increase the number of seats and facilities we are able to offer businesses in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire when operational.

The new facility spreads 150 workplace recovery seats over three floors and is complimented with a number of meetings rooms, kitchen facilities and toilets. The new site boasts highly resilient, fast internet connectivity and is supported by the latest hyperconvergence and datacentre technologies. All recovery seats in the suite feature a powerful thin client terminal, phone and monitor, ready for businesses to use when they invoke their business continuity plan. Backups and virtual machines can quickly be powered up on our high performance infrastructure so businesses can get back to making money as soon as possible. The site is easily accessible by road from both the A12 and the A14 and there are parking facilities on-site.
