Corbel triumph at award ceremony alongside European giants!

Corbel have won a prestigious award at glittering ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.

The IT Europa Excellence Awards recognise and reward excellence in European software development and IT and Telecoms solutions provision. This was a record year with over 500 projects entering from across Europe and Corbel are completely thrilled to be announced as winners for the Innovating Managed Service Solution.

From a 14-year-old boy on work experience cleaning keyboards and changing firmware on old green screen terminals to standing on the winner’s stage alongside the technology titans of Microsoft and Dell it has been a monumental journey for our CEO Paul Lough. “We are absolutely delighted to have been given the award for Innovating Managed Service Solution. Entries to the awards were received from companies of all types and sizes with a geographical spread from Russia, Belarus and Turkey to the Nordics and Ireland “This was a record year – both in the quality and number of entries,” says John Garratt, Editor of IT Europa and head of the judges’ panel. “It was particularly interesting to see the numbers really tick up in the innovation categories. There is a lot of new thinking being done as to how technology can make a real difference, and it is happening right across Europe. The awards aim to support all those IT businesses that have made a real difference to their customers, be they the largest global player or the smaller regional firms like Corbel, and this result shows that good work doesn’t depend on size just commitment”
