Marketing Assistant

The purpose of this role is to assist the Marketing Manager and Sales Director by working as an integral part of the team; the primary objective is to grow our company exposure by marketing activities alongside the Marketing Manager and the Sales Team.

Corbel are looking for a self-motivated, organised team member, with the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and suppliers where required.  An opportunity to learn and nurture creative skills in a marketing and commercial graphic design environment. Somebody with a keen eye for typography, art and layout. Interested in working with traditional and new media platforms.

Position reports to: Marketing Manager / Sales Director
Based at: Head Office, Ipswich
Key Skills Required:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Good organisational skills
– Traditional and Contemporary Art Skills
– Committed to quality and excellence
– Ideally have telemarketing experience or a very good telephone manor
– Numerate, literate, smart and flexible and be willing to work as part of a team.
– Ideally have knowledge of applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
– Ability to work to tight deadlines
– Ability to take direction and be willing to change direction if necessary, whilst communicating that direction effectively
– Methodical, thorough and determined
– An interest in  IT an advantage

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
General – Assisting from bringing ideas from concept to delivery
CRM – Assistance with the continued development of our CRM Solution
Media Spectrum – Assisting with working across full media spectrum – adverts, brochures, signage, packaging, exhibitions, web, email, blogs etc.
Graphic Design – Keen interest in marketing and commercial graphic design
Website and social media – assisting with the management of content on the company’s website and social media presence, in particular Linked In and Twitter with responsibility for updating and uploading content such as changing/updating web page content, managing the company’s social media feeds. Maximise the visits to the Corbel Web Site in the most cost effective way
Telemarketing – with assistance from the senior team, organise and participate in Telemarketing activities
Data Cleansing – Work with the Sales Team to assist with Data Cleansing Campaigns
Events – organising and managing the company’s presence at exhibitions and trade shows

Product Development Specialist

The purpose of this role is to act as part of the sales team profiling opportunities for the specific range of products you are responsible for. Working as an integral part of the sales team.  The primary objective is to sell products and services to a new client base, to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. The ability to canvas and develop new business is a key function to this position. Working closely with the manufacturer to understand the latest news, offers and incentives, keeping detailed all relevant marketing and sales tools updated for use within the team.

Corbel are looking for a self-motivated, organised team member, with the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and suppliers where required. It is useful if the required candidate has a background and understanding of the IT market place to enable discussions with clients on the most suitable products to meet their business requirements.

Position reports to: Sales Director
Based at: Head Office, Ipswich
Key Skills Required:  Microsoft suite of products including: Word, Excel PowerPoint, a good knowledge of the IT market.
